Dreaming of a program that could change the face of mental health access, Hicks works with partnering organizations on trauma-informed support group models to equip, train, and engage volunteers.This dream led to collaboration with The National Association of State Mental Health Program Directors to create Triumph Over Trauma, which has equipped, trained, and engaged volunteers in 9 countries, as well as 32 U.S. states.
